What’s needed
You just need a landline broadband connection with a minimum line speed of 1Mbps, and a 3G phone on the Vodafone network.
How far can Sure Signal reach?
Vodafone Sure Signal provides up to 5 bars and 3G coverage for up to a 30 metre radial distance from the Sure Signal box (depending on the building structure and where the box is placed).
How does it work?
The Vodafone Sure Signal box simply connects to a landline broadband connection. Then up to 32 3G Vodafone phones can be registered to the box and up to four phones can work simultaneously using the signal.
Could unregistered user use my signal?
Each Vodafone Sure Signal box has an Access Control List so only registered users can connect.
Will it affect my bills?
It won’t affect your bill – all normal Vodafone charges apply, based on the user’s price plan, and bundle allocations such as top ups and packs will work as normal.
By using the Vodafone Sure Signal box additional data will be transmitted over the DSL line and may increase broadband usage, which may have an effect on any usage limits.
